Expeditions help us overcome weakness. When the hardships of life in a wheelchair meet the hardships of the road, you can forget about illness for a moment and do something extraordinary. I love that. And the people I share my adventures with love it too. I do it for myself, to give my life meaning, but I also do it for those who feel they can’t. I try to push beyond limits. As a person with a disability, I crossed the mountains of Mongolia on horseback, and travelled across both Americas in a specially designed car. Now, together with Bartosz Mrozek, I will make my way around Annapurna. Why? Because neither of us is afraid of doing difficult things. We have set the bar high, but we know it can be done.

The new goal is the ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT
Goal A trekking route in the Himalayas. We called the expedition WHEELCHAIRTRIP Himalayas Challenge 2021. We will cover the trail using specially designed electric vehicles, or rovers, built for this kind of terrain. I invited Bartosz Mrozek to join the project. He is a mountain and extreme sports enthusiast, and the person who inspired my passion for the mountains. He also showed me that electric vehicles can do much more than most people think. The biggest challenge of the expedition will be reaching the pass Thorung La 5416 m above sea level.

We are not afraid
of doing difficult things. We have set the bar high, but we know it can be done.
We want to show both able-bodied people and people with disabilities that it is worth facing your dreams, and that disability does not stand in the way of extreme achievements on the roof of the world.
