Takeaway photos
Norway 2013
“Takeaway fotos” is a journey into the unknown as a method and human interaction as a goal. The exploration of Norway with a large-format camera is a return to the idea of the itinerant photographer who, like in 19th-century America, must first gain the trust of the locals before pressing the shutter button. The expedition by Wręga and Woroch is an artistic endeavor calculated for the honesty and uncompromising nature of the photographic medium. Therefore, contact with people is so important – after all, each of the subjects will be gifted their own likeness. And not everyone is ready for it. The project was carried out in August and September 2013. Together with Piotr Wręga.
